	SCRIPT READING SERVICE As part of our new Elementary Filmmaker focus, ScreenACT is offering a low-cost script-reading service for short film scripts (up to 30 pages). We are thinking of your Tropfest films, let’s make them as good as we can and that all starts with the script! Getting a fresh, independent eye on your story can help identify issues or holes that you might not have noticed in the many re-drafts. Scripts will usually be read by Marisa Martin, Project Manager at ScreenACT and an award winning short filmmaker who will give feedback via email, phone or in person. If your short film script is for a Lights! Canberra! Action! film, due to conflict of interest, another reader will be appointed. Please allow at least a week for feedback on the script. The writer, director or producer of the project must be based in the Canberra region. Cost is $22 per script incl GST. To take advantage of this service, follow the link below.
