Filmmakers and production companies interested in locations found within the ACT are encouraged to contact the location owner directly to confirm filming permission requirements.

To assist you, following is a list of film contacts in ACT and Federal Government authorities within the ACT as well as contacts for some of the ACT's major attractions and other useful contacts. This list is not exhaustive. The approval processes shown below were current at the time of publication, but we recommend you confirm whether there have been any changes to the approval processes at the time of application.

Applications are available on the website - companies wishing to use explosives/pyrotechnics in the ACT are to contact ACT WorkCover to ensure applications are submitted in sufficient time and to discuss the intended event.
